On May 29th Year 3 visited the Manx Museum for workshop activities related to Geology in the Isle of Man.
Mr Cowin kindly drove the minibus for us and we were also lucky enough to have parents volunteering to help with transport and hall with the group activities.

Today Year 3 visited the Wildlife Park for Rainforest Magic 2014! We took an imaginary journey to the rainforest and held lots of different rainforest artefacts. We also tasted and smelt some rainforest fruits. Some visitors made an appearance in the classroom and we were able to touch a hissing cockroach, a millipede, giant african snails and' Slinky' the snake.
The sun shone and we were able to visit all the animals in the park. We had a great day out and learnt a lot about the rainforest in readiness for our topic next term.
