Thank you for all items sent in to date to support our event. We have three final collections:-.
Monday 26th November – Bottle stall
Any kind of bottle for our stall – wine, spirits, shampoo, tomato sauce, children’s drinks, salad dressings, bubble bath etc.
Monday 26th November - Chocolate Stall
Any chocolate items ranging from a packet of chocolate buttons to a large box of chocolates.
Tuesday 27th November – Cakes/Biscuits
Any home made cakes and biscuits please. These may be brought into either school hall any time during the day.
At the fair we will be selling tickets for an adult’s raffle, children’s raffle, a cake raffle and the playground raffle. So that people do not have to wait around on the Tuesday evening for the numbers to be drawn, the staff will draw tickets after the fair and winning numbers will be sent home in a newsletter on Wednesday. Prizes may be collected from the infants school office from Wednesday evening onwards.
A new item this year at the Christmas Cracker will be a group of infant and junior children singing Christmas songs in the hall at around 4.15 pm. We are all looking forward to this.
Parent Drop In
From next Monday (26th) the infant Nurture Room (Fo y Cheayn) will be open at
8.50 am - 9 am each morning. Mrs Taghinejad and Mrs Murphy will be available to meet with any parents to discuss any problems, answer any queries re school events, discuss any concerns you may have about your child, pass on any messages to staff. We hope you will take advantage of this initiative and find it useful.
We need to advise the Department of Education and Children of our final numbers for September 2013 in order that staff allocations can be made. If you know of anyone with a child due to start in September who has not yet registered please can you ask them to contact the school as soon as possible.
School Holiday Dates
Accompanying this letter is the latest holiday dates sheet (2012 - 2015) from the Department of Education and Children. Please note that it is correct that there are two weeks for TT in 2015. This is because the Manx Grand Prix is very late that year (22nd August to 4th September).
