The Schools Council is made up of a boy and girl representing each class in the school. They are all elected members. Elections take place each year at the beginning of February.
Children interested in standing for the Council have to create a poster to illustrate why they should be elected and be prepared to answer any questions from class members. All children have 2 votes.
At present the key roles are held by :Chairperson: Adam Palmer
Secretary: Breeshey Farren
Treasurer: Ben Cowin
Monitor: Riona Simpson
The Schools Council meets every fortnight with Mrs Green to discuss important school issues. This year they have designed and run a stall at our Christmas Fair.
They also have a Suggestions Box for pupils to put ideas for the Council to consider. This box is emptied at each meeting and all issues raised are discussed and decisions made.
