The Arts Council and the Isle of Man Government as a whole are planning to have a year-long celebration of the arts and culture entitled Island of Culture 2014.
One of the cornerstones of the project is that schools, youth groups and young people are involved in all sorts of activities, large and small, and that there is some legacy for them. This will involve everything from children attending large-scale performances to those with artistic talents visiting schools to share with pupils their particular skill, perhaps unlocking an interest in them in music, art, fashion etc.
Keep visiting this page to see pictures and reports about what we have been doing at Ballasalla.
