Register Notices - Thursday 12th January 2017

Important - Path Closure - The path at the rear of the school leading to Rheast Bridson will be closed from 14th January for a month while they undertake works to the gas, electric and water supply. Please make alternative arrangements if you would normally use this path.

Year 11 Cake Sale in the Atrium tomorrow break - Please remember to bring in some money for the Year 11 cake sale tomorrow. We are raising funds for the Prom

Key Stage 3 Textiles Workshop - New session starting Friday 20th January, room 32, 1.15pm-2.00pm.(running for 5 weeks) Making a pyramid shaped chicken bean bag. Please sign up on the list on room 32’s door. Hope to see you there. Mrs Leadley and Mrs Burgess

The PE Department would like to see more usage of the gym this term. The PE teachers are now going to be running inductions for new users and existing users. This is primarily to ensure safe and proper use of the equipment but also to get more students familiar and using the gym. There is a signing in book along with new rules and regulations up in the gym and we would like these to be abided by and would also love to see some new faces.

Year 11 Science Set 4 and students taking resits - External Physics exam at 9.00am as soon as you have been registered please gather outside Room F10/11 with all equipment needed. Phones and any other electronic equipment should be left in your locker.

Year 13 students - Please note the deadline for resit forms and payment to be returned to reception is tomorrow

Election of Parent Governor

Students from QEII will be making the news for real on 16th March 2017 as they take part in the annual BBC News School Report. We aim to publish the news by 3.00pm on News Day, so please save the link below as a favourite and return to it later.


The One World Centre sponsorship

(closing date Friday 20th January 2017)

The One World Centre is enabling the sponsorship of one 18-24 year old Manx youngster to take part in a Quest Overseas charity project in Peru, Rwanda or Malawi

Dropping off and collecting students

We urge parents dropping off or collecting students from School to do so before 8.30am in the morning or after 4.00pm in the afternoon. PLEASE DO NOT park in the bus lane OR enter the staff car park.
